As I've always said, time really flies fast. The more or less 2 months of vacation will finally come to an end. Still, I can say that this vacation is not just any other vacation because I've gain lots of somethings. It started when I volunteered to help in the Kiddie Summer workshop the last 2 weeks of April. I began to increase my patience with kids, 'cuz before, I must admit that I get pretty annoyed with them. haha. I was with ate Zairee, and met new people like Marice, ate karen, and many more (even the kids who just lives here!). I wake up at 7 am everyday and go back at lunchtime. Then ate zairee invited me to join catechism and be a catechist. Then one thing led to another. What I 'just expected' wasn't that. In less than a month I also became an ate, teacher and friend to the kids, a choir member, a reader and collector during mass, a dancer, and next, an actor (woah, just kidding!) I gained friends, commited myself fully to God, and learned lots of other stuff. I became tired even on weekends, stayed up late on nights (not just by watching tv!) hehe. Speaking of that, I didn't memorize all the shows not pigged out this summer.
And even though I exerted my energy, gave my half day everyday of May, at least I can say that, "This summer is like no other. It wasn't boring, it even was exciting!" hihi.
Moving forward... In less than 12 days I'll be back to Manila for school, living the next 10 months as a collegiala again. I just hope between those months I'll also be gaining stuff I gained during vacation, with hard work, time, and patience. Good luck to me! :)
